Este artículo presenta la traducción comentada y el análisis de dos textos inéditos de Elena G. de White (un manuscrito y su última carta) dirigidos a John Harvey Kellogg. El objetivo central es contextualizar el conflicto teológico y administrativo que llevó a la ruptura entre White y Kellogg en el escenario de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, al mismo tiempo que se analiza la complejidad de la comunicación de White. Para el análisis lingüístico, se emplea el Método Gramatical de Eugen Rosenstock-Huessy, centrándose específicamente en la aplicación de los modos gramaticales (imperativo y lírico/subjuntivo). La investigación demuestra cómo Elena G. de White utilizó variaciones gramaticales en un proceso que los autores interpretan como una guerra verbal o enunciación profética, buscando persuadir a Kellogg sobre orientaciones que ella consideraba vitales. El estudio contribuye a la comprensión de la sofisticación retórica de Ellen White y proporciona material primario inédito para la investigación en portugués.
