MISSIOLOGIA: UMA PERSPECTIVA TEOLÓGICA-ADVENTISTA NOS ESCRITOS DE ELLEN G. WHITE

Abstract

O conceito de missões está presente na maioria das igrejas, diferindo, no entanto, em aspectos consensuais e interpretativos. A missiologia adventista está fundamentada no ordenamento de Jesus, e encontra respaldo nos escritos de Ellen G. White para compreender e aplicar a missão de levar o Evangelho ao mundo conforme os ensinamentos do Mestre. Assim, o objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender a perspectiva teológica-adventista nos escritos de Ellen G. White, a fim de sistematizar o seu pensamento a respeito das missões da igreja.

Abstract: The concept of missions is present in most churches, differing, how ever, in consensual and interpretative aspects. The Adventist missiology is based on the order of Jesus, and it finds support in the writings of Ellen G. White to comprehend and to apply the mission of taking the Gospel to the world according to the Master's teachings. Hence, the objective of this research is to comprehend the theological-Adventist perspective in the writings of Ellen G. White, to systemize their thinking about the church's mission.
