Abstract

The purpose of this article is to make, by means of a bibliographic search, an evaluation of the feminist view of the Bible from an Adventist perspective. The research assesses some representative texts of feminist theology, from the First Wave to contemporary times, and statements by feminist activists and theologians about the Bible. Through this research, it is possible to conclude that there is a significant tension between the feminist view and the Adventist perspective regarding the Bible.
