Abstract

A instável relação entre judeus e cristãos elucida inúmeras interpretações quanto a causa, efeito e circunstância de divergência entre ambos. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo explanar a relação entre grupos de judeus e cristãos no contexto do
Império Romano para compreender as ferramentas sociais de composição do Diálogo. Como a obra cooperou para a desafeição entre judeus e cristãos? Inicialmente, pretende-se fazer um levantamento biográfico do autor do Diálogo. Logo após, buscase discutir alguns trechos da obra a partir de um debate historiográfico, dando margem ao terceiro tópico, a saber, o processo de dominação romana na Judeia, interferindo ou não nas relações entre judeus e cristão do segundo século.
