O FECHAMENTO DA PORTA DA GRAÇA UNIVERSAL E ESCATOLÓGICO: BREVE FUNDAMENTAÇÃO BÍBLICA A PARTIR DO LIVRO DE APOCALIPSE
Abstract
Abstract: This article presents a brief biblical defense of the concept known in the Seventh-day Adventist theology as an eschatological and universal “close of probation”. The article offers a general overview of this biblical concept structured from what Ellen White talks about it, especially from the book of Revelation in the following passages: 8: 5; 15: 5-8; 16:17 and 22:11. After an evaluation of the contribution of each of the above cited passages to this idea, the article adds considerations about Revelation 14:9-12 concluding that the concept of an eschatological and universal “close of probation” has biblical foundation in Revelation.
Keywords: Close of probation; Revelation; Eschatology.
