Abstract

This study presents a contextualized approach to Postmodernism, in view of the large spectrum of Youth people that is part of our churches today. It deals with the feeling of apprehension by SDA leaders concerning the profile of Adventist young people and the phenomenon of Postmodernism. It starts with Pastor Miroslav Pujic, the director of CSPS (Centre for Secular and Postmodern Studies of General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventists), who has developed several studies on how to reach-out more efficiently the pos-modern mind, focusing on young people, a slice that represents the majority. This investigation also studies the beginning of the Volunteers Missionary Movement, which is so different in kind from Postmodernism, and its pluralistic religious effort in order to modernize the Gospel [Jesus]. At the end, the present study tries to outline a possible answer this phenomenon by our denomination
