Abstract

The present article investigates the basic proposal of the movie Zeitgeist that
Jesus is nothing but a plagiary scam of ancient mythologies of pagan people. It
analyses the parallels suggested by the movie, and the history of this theory that is at its foundation. At the end, some conclusive comparisons are undertaken in rapport to such an issue and to the biblical aspects that contradict it.
