Suicide, an act of hope? a reflection about god’s stand in relation to a suicidal person victim of depression

The present article discusses the question of suicide in relation to the Ten Commandments. Would it be acceptable act if it were the result of a depression or is it directly or indirectly forbidden by the divine law? In order to advance such inquiry, I shall probe into some possible causes of suicide, with a focus for depression.
