Abstract

In this study, we analyze elements of the chapters 7:14 of Revelation, where John describes the 144.000 and the great multitude. The preliminary analysis has the aim of presenting the relationship between the 144.000 and the large crowd, in order to answer the question about the symbolism or literalness of the first group. In addition, some of Ellen White's texts will be examined to see if the description of the details she narrates coincides with the conclusions presented in this analysis. Although this study considers certain characteristics of the large crowd, the focus will be on the 144.000.
