The Concept of Science in Ellen G. White: The Search for Christian Epistemology of Truth

The Christian epistemology of science, from the perspective of Ellen G. White, emerges as a crucial investigation in the contemporary context. In this study, we explore White's approach, which clearly distinguishes between the genuine and the misleading, alerting to the dangers of pseudoscience and emphasizing the intrinsic responsibility of adopting only true knowledge. The problem lies in the growing influence of incorrect interpretations of science in society. When analyzing White's works, a persistent emphasis on rigorous judgment and commitment to true science, and the importance of seeking an integral context in its formulation, is revealed. This finding evidences the continued relevance of her epistemology to guide the search and application of scientific knowledge, mitigating the dissemination of distorted information. It is concluded that Ellen G. White's epistemological approach offers invaluable guidance in preserving scientific integrity and ethically fulfilling our quest for knowledge.
