Abstract

lthough the book of Daniel is the study object of the adventistism since
its beggining, this book hasn’t been explored yet as it should be, which
results in multiple positions about its truths. The study of chapter 10 of
the book of Daniel can bring an appropriate hermeneutical key for the interpretation of chapters 11 and 12, besides clarifying important cirumstances in which the prophet had his visions. Considering the contemporary escathology study, the adventist theology is more prepared to explain chapter 1, not only because of its historical interest, but specially because of its singular comprehension of the great war we call “the great contreversy”.
