Abstract

O ne of the most problematic issues regarding missiology is related to the shaping of the new converse engaged in Christian practice. Still during a vast period of time the factors that compound the structure of conversion has been one-sided, sometimes stressing cognitive acquisition and at the other side underlining mystical experiences. Starting from such problematic, this paper exposes the suggestion of the model of three encounters as central to the understanding the interplay of the factors which shapes the convert into a more engaged missionary way of life. Considering Peter and John experiences once found in Acts 4, one comes to the conclusion that Christian’s knowledge, loyalty, and experience supports each other into missiologic motion and shaping of the Christian convert.
