Abstract

There are two dominant trends concerning the messianic age in Judaism, restorative and utopian. This article studies both tendencies to see how Zionists understand them. Moreover, the article analyzes the ideas about the messianic age in Seventh-day Adventists. It seems that the understanding one has concerning the messianic age has social and religious implications. Although the Adventist view of the messianic age has similarities with that of Zionists, the two groups have discrepancies.
