A BRIEF HISTORY OF MILLENARIAN DOCTRINE

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to investigate the history of the doctrine millenarian satiating the question: how this doctrine has been understood through the centuries by Christians? The answer of this question will guide the reader to the knowledge of the eschatological perspectives from the early centuries to the present postmodern era. For this purpose, define periods in history such as eschatological fervor (early centuries), softening of the doctrine (VI to XV centuries) and eschatological rise to the present day.

Bacharel em Teologia (Bel.) pela Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie/SP e Bacharel em Teologia (intracorpus) pelo Seminário Teológico Presbiteriano Rev. Denoel Nicodemos Eller/MG.

Pesquisador na área de Apocalíptica, Pseudo-epígrafos (Enoque etíope), Escatologia (Milenarismo) e Angelologia.
