O CUIDADO COM O MEIO AMBIENTE NOS ESCRITOS DE ELLEN G. WHITE
Abstract

Abstract: Religion has a great influence on the attitudes, perceptions and values of people, having an important educational role. However, the involvement with the environmental cause has not been an obvious practice in evangelical churches in general and the Adventist Church in particular. Thus, considering the importance Seventh-day Adventists give to the writings of Ellen G. White, it is necessary to rescue what she says about the care we must have with the environment. This article aims to present what the American Adventist writer Ellen G. White wrote about the care of nature in its various aspects, in keeping with the values espoused to achieve a more just and egalitarian society.
Key words: Environment; Adventist Theology; Ellen G. White.
