Abstract

The goal of this research is to define what is a Greeting Ministry, how does it actually works in Adventist churches, to verify its relevance and to propose ideal Greeting Ministry models. The research implemented also a field research developed among some middle sized Adventist churches in the State of São Paulo, Brazil. The conclusions reached indicated that this kind of ministry has the function to integrate new members into the local community, as well as to promote between the general membership of the church a sense of belonging.
