Resumo

Este artículo discute el papel exegético del método narrativo, también conocido como
criticismo narrativo, y así ofrece, en primer lugar, su localización dentro del variado espectro de los métodos literarios, destacando su peculiaridad y también su relación con otras tendencias. Además, expone la forma en que este método es usado exegéticamente, revelando, tras su examen, una lectura ecléctica del texto bíblico. Finalmente, el artículo ofrece una evaluación crítica, subrayando que uno de los mayores beneficios del método consiste en la definición y aceptación de las presuposiciones que el texto bíblico propone en sí mismo.
